Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress that has appeared in multiple television series. She is also a star in the film industry. The popularity of her is shared by the world of Canadian and American TV. Emily's passion for acting started when, at age 12 she visited her sister Katie who was making a film with Katie. When Emily realized her love for acting, she took acting classes and attended auditions. The first commercials she auditioned for were however, she was eventually cast as a child actor on the Canadian television horror show Are You afraid of the dark? The show only featured her in one scene with no any dialogue. When she was fifteen, Emily made her big breakthrough when she was made regular on the WB Television show Glory Days. Emily's acting talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the show was cancelled after just nine episodes. The show's creator cast Emily as a character on Everwood the new television show. Emily can also be a professional dancer as well as a photographer. She was named as among the top 20 Teen's actresses. Emily was listed as number 51 on the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
