Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, particularly acclaimed for her critically acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams was born to an U.S. Army officer in Italy and was raised within Castle Rock Colorado. The mid-1990s saw her begin professional dancing and acting with Boulder's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. Following her move to Minnesota where she was a part of an undocumentary-style film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. Following her successful screen debut where she played an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet relocated to Los Angeles where she began a professional acting career. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 until September 1962. Her children include Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered by actress Norma Shearer and was offered a contract to join MGM in the 1940s. In the 1960s, she appeared in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.
